Carolyn Johnson has over twenty-five years experience as a team leader in strategic planning and cross-cultural communications in Asia, Europe and Washington, DC.

An award-winning former U.S. diplomat, Ms. Johnson has worked as a global advocate for business interests in the defense, pharmaceutical, agricultural, finance, entertainment, and tourism industries.  She also previously served as a fellow on the staff of U.S. Senator Joseph Lieberman (D-CT), assisting in the drafting and enactment of federal legislation enhancing the competitiveness of U.S. commercial defense sales.  A creative public policy advocate, Ms. Johnson is equally adept interacting with senior political leaders as devising and executing a communications plan targeting the general public.  She is also well-versed in crisis management having directed inter-agency, crisis, first-responder teams for the U.S. State Department.

Ms. Johnson holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Georgetown University’s School of Foreign Service.   She is also a graduate of the Romanian National War College.  Ms. Johnson is competent in German and French with residual knowledge of Thai, Japanese and Romanian.
